Japanese Chopsticks Gift Set & Cat Chopstick Rest

Set of 2 Pairs of Japanese Chopsticks with Porcelain Cat Chopstick Rests

In Japanese culture, giving meoto hashi, or “couple’s chopsticks,” is a meaningful gesture: it expresses the wish that two people will continue sharing meals together for many years to come.

This Nekozukushi set, literally “all about cats,” adds a charming twist to that tradition. It includes two pairs of lacquered natural wood chopsticks, each decorated with a different little cat on the handle, along with two porcelain chopstick rests showing seated cats from behind. Perfect for a wedding, birthday, or simply treating two cat lovers who adore Japan.
