Uchiwa Fan - Hishi

Bamboo uchiwa fan with cotton tenugui fabric

The uchiwa is a round Japanese fan, essential for summer festivals. This model is handcrafted in Japan using ancestral techniques. The bamboo structure is covered with cotton fabric, the same as that used for tenugui, and washi paper. Perfect for staying cool in hot weather, it also serves as a sunshade with its strong UV protection.
